Partnering with The DoSeum—San Antonio's premier children's museum—we stepped in to revitalize two key interactive exhibits: the 2D and 3D Animation Stations. When legacy code proved unusable, our team of San Antonio mobile app developers built robust, custom Mac applications from the ground up. These apps empower young visitors to draw, pose with props, and star in their own animated videos using green screen magic—all while learning through play.

The Challenge

The existing software for these popular exhibits was unreliable and outdated, risking downtime in a high-traffic, hands-on environment. The DoSeum needed stable, child-friendly solutions that integrated external cameras, handled dynamic lighting, and supported creative workflows: drawing sequences on whiteboards (2D) or using 3D props against green screens with exotic backgrounds (3D), then compiling photos into shareable videos emailed directly to families.
